  • Flatworms have one mouth/anus, it both takes in food and expels waste out of the same place
  • Over half of flatworms are parasidic, the most famous is the Taenia Solium which can be ingested and found in raw or lightly cooked food and causes epilepsy
  • There are 3 main types of Flatworms
    • Dugesia-are found in fresh water and very few are parasitic
    • Trematoda- are parasites in animal tissue
    • Cestoda- are intestinal parasites\
